Everything you need to know before your appointment, from prep to aftercare and everything in between.
Come with clean, dry skin and avoid applying lotions, oils or heavy products to the area being waxed. Your hair should also be long enough for the wax to properly grip it. If you’re unsure whether you’re ready, reach out before your appointment and we’ll be happy to help.
Everyone’s sensitivity level is a little different, but we do everything we can to make your appointment as comfortable as possible. Many clients find that waxing becomes easier with consistency as the hair begins to grow back finer over time.
For the best results, your hair needs enough length for the wax to grip. As a general rule, the hair should be the length of a grain of rice, or 1/4 inch. Avoid shaving 2 weeks before your appointment and allow some regrowth. If you’re unsure whether your hair is long enough, just ask us!
Yes! You can still get waxed when you're on your period. You must wear a clean tampon to your appointment and be aware that your skin may be a little more sensitive during that time.
Your skin may be a little sensitive immediately after waxing, so give it some extra love. Avoid excessive heat, friction and irritating products on the freshly waxed area for 48 hours after your appointment, and don't forget to exfoliate!
